Accompanying photographs of the Church of the Transfiguration dating to 1790. This is a splendid example of the "Gothic Revival" style of architecture.The Church is located in the Tver region. It is also a near copy of the famous Church of St John the Baptist (the Chesme Church) in St Petersburg. The Church was closed in 1930 and was used by the farm as a store for fuels and lubricants......</p>
